Wingman : Seoul Train

Hello Dahlings,

Just to share, I am a huge fan of Wingman.

I don't really go out a lot so some of you might argue with my claim. But for me, Wingman serves the best chicken wings in the metro. They have so many flavors that you can choose from. I have tried their Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper, Mango Barbecue and my favorite Moroccan Chermoula.

You can order for half a dozen or a dozen of wings. I normally order a dozen so I get to have 2 flavors. That's the thing when you order a dozen. You get to pick 2 flavors. My staple order would always be the Moroccan Chermoula and then I just pick another flavor which normally ends up to be Lemon Pepper.

I haven't gone to Wingman for months now, so I only found out last weekend that they added a new flavor called Seoul Train. So I decided to try it.

I loved it! I'm not really good at describing how it tastes but it's sweet, tangy(?) and has a very mild spice I guess. Hahahaha.. I'm really bad at describing food. But if you like your wings with a touch of sweet flavor to it, then this is for you.

Refillable Blue Lemonade

And if you are not into drinking soda, you can always have their refillable Blue Lemonade together with your wings.

According to munchpunch, a dozen of their wings is about 350 pesos. And although I frequent here, I really don't remember the prices. So lets say prepare around 500 pesos and that will get you a dozen chicken wings and a refillable drink.

The next time I visit, I will pay more to attention to details to give you foxes more information. This is a really nice place. Very laid back and their staff are friendly which is something I always check first when I eat somewhere.

Wingman Makati is located here:
The Collective, 7274 Malugay St
San Antonio, Makati

I know they opened another branch in Resorts World or somewhere in that area. But Makati is where I always go. :)

Talk to you soon, foxes!

Smoldering you with hugs and kisses,

Photography: Makati Night Lights on Dec 28, 2013

Hello Dahlings!

Last night I slept over at my sister's condo in Makati because it was wine night for us. I couldn't resist taking photos using my phone and I just thought it would be nice to share them with you. :)

Quote Of The Day from William Somerset Maugham

“We are not the same persons this year as last; nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we, changing, continue to love a changed person.”

Why Are Mean People Mean

I have a theory.

Maybe mean people lead unhappy lives. I look around me, and I have never met a successful and contented person who has ever been hurtful, judgemental and demeaning towards other people.

What I noticed is that people who normally say harsh things toward other people are going through some battle. Failed romantic relationships or lack thereof, family problems, financial woes, career frustrations. It seems that being mean becomes their drug of choice - their fix.

No matter how true or factual something is, I have never met a happy person belittle anyone for their life choices. They definitely show respect in an effort to agree to disagree.

I think it's a mean person's way of deflecting from their own personal issues and they get a temporary happiness or a quick high by being hurtful. They have no control over their own problems, so when they know they can bully a person it gives them a feeling of control - control which is something that they don't have over their own problems.

So the next time someone is ever mean to you, instead of getting upset or trying to retaliate, be the bigger person. That bully hurting you, is maybe also hurting inside.

Be grateful that you get enough support from friends and family that you don't need to be hurtful towards other people to go through life's ordeals.

I think a person who feels well loved by friends and family are understanding and forgiving. They are not hurtful, judgemental and vindictive. They have no time to hate.

Maybe only people with void in their hearts will. And maybe they try to fill that void with crass actions.

I don't think mean people are born mean.
Maybe they're not really mean.
Maybe they're just unhappy.
And for some, being mean is easier than to accept and let anyone know your unhappy.

Don't be like them. Continue to be kind. :)
